This is the 2018-19 St. John's Junior Hockey League. This is the league's 39th season dating back to 1980-81.
As the league is the only Junior B level league in the province the league playoff champion will advance to the 2019 Don Johnson Memorial Cup being held in Prince Edward Island. The provincial champion is traditionally awarded the Veitch Memorial Trophy however, the trophy is not awarded when there is only one junior B league in the province as has been the case since the folding of the Central-West Junior Hockey League prior to the 2013-14 season.
