This is the 2018-19 Richelieu Valley Junior A Hockey League season. This is the league's third season under this name. The league was known as the Rive-Sud Junior A Hockey League until the 2015-16 season. The league's ten members were scheduled to play a limited interlocking schedule with the Rivers Junior A Hockey League with each of the teams playing a total of four games against their 7 teams, but the leagues merged under the Richelieu Valley Junior A Hockey League name.
Membership Changes[]
- The St-Hyacinthe Maskas were renamed the St-Hyacinthe Mousquetaires
- The St-Basile Centurions and St-Bruno Aigles merged to form the Richelieu Phoenix
- The Brossard Phoenix are added to the league
- The Rouville Blizzard join the league
- The St-Remi Dragons return to the league after having dropped out during the 2016-17 season
- The Candiac Lions become the Roussillon Lions
- The Chambly Remparts, Delson Senators, and St-Hubert Jets leave the league.
