Capital Region Junior Hockey League

This is the 2018-19 Capital Region Junior Hockey League season. This is the league's 1st season as all of the league's members had withdrawn from the Keystone Junior Hockey League to for the league. As of August 24, 2018 the new league has not been sanctioned by Hockey Manitoba but a meeting was scheduled for September 6th with the issue to be addressed.

League Playoffs[]

Format[]

All five teams qualify with 4th and 5th place teams playing a best-of-three series with the winner becoming the 4th seed and playing the regular season champion.  The semifinal and final rounds are best-of-seven.

Baldy Northcott Trophy Playoffs[]

As the Baldy Northcott Trophy is the Manitoba provincial Junior B championship trophy; a new trophy will likely be used for the league playoff championship for both the Capital Region Junior Hockey League and the Keystone Junior Hockey League. No provincial championship event will be held this year.  The CRJHL will not be participating in the 2019 Keystone Cup.
