The 2018–19 Florida Panthers season was the 26th season for the National Hockey League franchise that was established on June 14, 1993.[1] The Panthers were eliminated from playoff contention on March 26, 2019, after losing 6–1 to the Montreal Canadiens.[2] This was also the final season for Roberto Luongo, who announced his retirement on June 26, 2019 after playing 19 seasons in the NHL.
