The 2018–19 Boston Bruins season was the 95th season for the National Hockey League franchise that was established on November 1, 1924.[1] The Bruins clinched a playoff spot on March 23, 2019, after a 7–3 win over the Florida Panthers .[2]
On May 16, 2019, the Bruins advanced to the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals with a 4–0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes ,[3] marking their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance since 2013 .[4] They would lose in seven games to the St. Louis Blues .[5]

The Bruins faced the St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup Finals ,[17] where the Bruins lost to the Blues in seven games.[5] This marked the first time since 1990 that they had home ice advantage in the final round.[18]
