This is the 2017 Cyclone Taylor Cup, the Junior B ice hockey Provincial Championship for British Columbia. This marks the 51st time the tournament has been held. The tournament will be hosted by the Creston Valley Thunder Cats of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. The tournament will be held April 6-9, 2017. The event will be held at the Johnny Bucyk Arena in Creston, British Columbia. The selection of Creston as the host was announced on May 27, 2016.
The three league champions of British Columbia's Junior B leagues and the host team will meet in a single round robin tournament with the first and second place teams from the round robin meeting in the championship game for a berth in the 2017 Keystone Cup, which is the Western Canada Junior B championship. The Keystone Cup will be held in Arborg, Manitoba and be hosted by the Arborg Ice Dawgs of the Keystone Junior Hockey League.
