This is the 2017-18 Rivers Junior A Hockey League season.

This appears to be the league's third season under this name.  Many of these teams played in the Rive-Sud Junior A Hockey League for the 2014-15 season.  The league appears to have seperated into two leagues for the 2015-16 season.

Membership Changes[]

  • The St-Remi Dragons do not return to the league after having dropped out during the 2016-17 season
  • The Longueuil Sieurs cut down to one team in the league
  • The Brossard Broncos and Rouville Monarchs leave the league
  • The Napierville Mustangs and St-Hubert Jets join the league

Standings[]

The league (along with most junior leagues in Quebec) uses what is called a Fair Play Point which is a bonus point in the standings if the team meets certain requirements in terms of avoiding penalties.
