This is the 2017-18 Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League season. This is the league's 8th season under this name 26th season overall.
Membership Changes[]
- The Morell Flyers announced they were folding on January 2, 2017. The team does not return for the 2017-18 season.
- The Belfast Sabres appear to have folded some time in late September of 2017 after announcing tryouts for the team beginning September 18th and 20th.
- The Georgetown Eagles were added to the league with no announcement on the league website.

All teams qualify. The top two seeds earn a bye to the semifinals with the 3rd seed playing the 6th seed and 4th playing 5th in the best-of-five quarterfinals. The semifinals are best-of-five and the final is best-of-seven.
