  • The International Developmental Hockey League is a proposed senior level league that was announced to begin play in the fall of 2017.  The league is intended to help players aged 20 to 23 further develop their skills to move to the next level whether it be NCAA, ACHA or minor league hockey.  The league is aligned with the Federal Hockey League.  The ownership group behind the league purchased the Watertown Wolves franchise in the FHL in June of 2017.  By early August the league had announced that it was delaying the start of play until October of 2018.  No further information has been updated on the proposed league on its' website, twitter, or facebook.
  • The United Hockey League which had ceased operations in 2010 announced on August 2, 2017 its' intended return for the 2018-19 season.  The league website stated it would have a six team, 50 game schedule from October 2018 to March 2019.  The league announced it would begin taking inquiries about teams on October 6, 2017.  The league website expired on July 12, 2018 and the league facebook page had not been updated since October 28, 2017.
