This is the 2017-18 Noralta Junior Hockey League season. This is the league's 26th season dating back to its' founding as the North Central Junior Hockey League in 1992.
Membership changes[]
- The Fort Saskatchewan Traders are no longer in the league. This is apparently due to speculation of the city possibly getting a team in the Junior A level Alberta Junior Hockey League.[1] However, the Jubilee Recreation Centre would require extensive renovations to have any chance of landing a team. [2] The team had played its home games out of several smaller arenas in the town in 2016-17.
- The New Sarepta Falcons join the league.
