This is the 2017-18 National College Prospects Hockey League season.  The league folded in Mid-September of 2017.  This was to be the league's second season.[1]

The league stated  "The NCPHL is a Junior-Aged Academic Hockey league with the goal of developing hockey players for continuing their careers at all levels of hockey.[2]

Membership ChangesEdit

  • In late April 2017, the league added the Maniwaki Mustangs from the Outaouais region of Quebec.
  • On September 17, 2017 it was reported on website that the league had folded. The Lake Erie Eagles, Maniwaki Mustangs, and "Ottawa" were reportedly taken in to the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League along with one additional unidentified team based in Canada. These four teams were apparently the only ones that had assembled a large enough roster to attempt to play for the season. The CPJHL website has not indicated the addition of the four teams and the NCPHL website is no longer active.[10]
