- Bantam Draft held in Winnipeg on June 4th.
- League announced partnership agreement with HockeyTech, the worldwide leader in providing hockey-related technologies, analytics, and information services.
- League & each of the 11 teams to have new websites under the direction of Hockey Tech.
- Number of 20-year-olds that can play in a game reduced from nine to eight.
- First-ever Prospect Development Camp scheduled for July 27-30 at Seven Oaks Arena.
- League schedules Showcase for December 11th to 13th in Winnipeg at the MTS IcePlex.
- League announced they will hold a U.S. Prospects Camp in Grand Forks, May 12 & 13.
- League launched a mobile app for smart phones and tablets.
- SJHL & MJHL announced the 1st MJHL/SJHL Showcase in Regina, January 15-16.
- Commissioner Kim Davis appointed vice-chair with Canadian Junior Hockey League.
- League produced promotional video aimed to promote the league & attract players.
- Hockey Ability and Sportsmanship Award renamed Frank McKinnon Memorial Trophy.
- CJHL announced the return of the ANAVET Cup series.
- Turnbull Cup given complete refurbishing.
