This is the 2017-18 Long Lake Senior Hockey League season. This is the league's 40th season.
Membership Changes
- The Wynyard Monarchs had informed the Highway Hockey League at the HHL spring meeting on April 12, 2017 that they were leaving the league to join the Long Lake Senior Hockey League.
the league is playing an interlocking schedule with the Fort Carlton Hockey League as that league is down to four teams.

Playoffs
Format
All teams qualify with the top two seeds earning a bye to the semifinals 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5 in best-of-three quarterfinal series. Based on past seasons the semifinal and final rounds are best-of-five series.
