This is the 2017-18 East Coast Senior Hockey League season. This is the league's first season.
Membership Changes[]
- All teams join the league from the Avalon East Senior Hockey League.[1]
- The Bell Island Blues were renamed the Conception Bay South Blues when the team moved the majority of its' games to the Conception Bay South Arena.

The league playoffs consist of two rounds of best-of-seven series with 1 playing 3 and 2 playing 4 in the semifinals and the semifinal winners meeting in the league final. The playoff champion advances to the 2018 Herder Memorial Trophy.
