
The 2016 Western Canada Cup is the Western Canada qualifying tournament for the 2016 Royal Bank Cup, which is the championship of the Canadian Junior Hockey League which is the national level organization for Junior A hockey in Canada
The tournament is scheduled for April 30 - May 8, 2016 and is being held in Estevan, Saskatchewan hosted by the Estevan Bruins at Affinity Place. The top two teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2016 Royal Bank Cup being held in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan hosted by the AJHL's Lloydminster Bobcats at the Centennial Civic Centre.

Format[]
The teams will play in a single round robin (each team plays 4 games). The 3rd and 4th teams from the round robin play in the semifinal while the top two seed meet with the winner securing the first berth in the Royal Bank Cup and Western Canada Cup. The loser of this game plays the winner of the semifinal for the second berth in the Royal Bank Cup.
