2016 NCAA Men's Frozen Four

The 2016 NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey Tournament is the national championship tournament for men's college ice hockey in the United States in 2016. The tournament involves 16 teams in single-elimination play to determine the national champion at the Division I level of the NCAA, the highest level of competition in college hockey. The tournament's Frozen Four – the semifinals and finals – will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.  The venues were announced on December 11,2013.  Tournament bids will be announced at noon March 20th, 2016.

The post season champions of the six division I confences will automatically qualify for the tournament

The tournament committee extended 10 at-large bids to the tournament.

The tournament consisted of four groups of four teams in regional brackets. The winner of each regional advanced to the Frozen Four:
