This is the 2016-17 West Coast Senior AA Hockey League season. This is the league's second season. The league is operating as a scheduling convenience for the member teams to play enough games (six) to be eligible to compete for the 2017 Coy Cup.

For 2016-17 the South Island Knights (based out of Port McNeill) and Kelowna Sparta have joined the informal league.

note: The Kelowna Sparta website only had one game scheduled in Kelowna with an arena listed and is was an away game against another team from the city. The only home games they had listed were listed as being at the Kal Tire Place in Vernon which is about 50km away.
