2015-16 WOJCHL Season

This is the 2015-16 Western Ontario Junior C Hockey League season. This is the league's 50th season dating back to its founding as the Western Junior C Hockey League in 1966.

This would be the league's final season under this identity as a major consolidation which had been In the works since 2014, in the spring of 2016 it was announced that the eight Junior C leagues of the Ontario Hockey Association would merge for the 2016-17 season to create the Provincial Junior Hockey League. The union was in an effort to streamline rules across the classification and to promote growth and development.

Playoffs[]

Format[]

All seven teams qualify. The top seed gets a bye to the semifinals.The remaining teams are paired off 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 in the quarterfinals. The lowest winning quarterfinal team is paired up against the top seed and the other two quarterfinal winner are paired up in the semifinals. All series are best-of-seven.
