This is the 2015-16 Central Ontario Junior C Hockey League season.  This is the league's 46th season dating back to its founding as the Central Lakeshore Junior C Hockey League when that league split from the Suburban Junior C Hockey League. The league champion moves on to the 2016 Clarence Schmalz Cup.

This would be the league's final season under this identity as a major consolidation which had been In the works since 2014, in the spring of 2016 it was announced that the eight Junior C leagues of the Ontario Hockey Association would merge for the 2016-17 season to create the Provincial Junior Hockey League. The union was in an effort to streamline rules across the classification and to promote growth and development.

Playoffs

Format

The top six teams qualify for the playoffs.  The top tow seeds earn a bye to the semifinals.  The third place team plays the sixth place team and the fourth place team plays the fifth place team in the quarterfinals.  The top seed plays the lower seeded quarterfinal winner and the second seed plays the highers seeded quarterfinal winner in the semifinals.  The semifinal winners meet for the COJCHL championship.  All series are best-of-seven.

Quarterfinals

  • Port Perry Mojacks defeated North Kawartha Knights 4 games to none (6-3, 4-3, 7-0, 4-0)
  • Lakefield Chiefs defeated Little Britain Merchants 4 games to none (3-2, 2-1, 4-2, 4-2)

Semifinals

  • Clarington Eagles defeated Lakefield Chiefs 4 games to 2 (2-3 (2ot), 4-2, 2-1, 5-1, 2-3, 3-1)
  • Port Perry Mojacks defeated Uxbridge Bruins 4 games to none (3-2 (ot), 2-0, 4-1, 3-2 (ot))

Final

  • Port Perry Mojacks defeated Clarington Eagles 4 games to 1 (4-1, 3-2 (ot), 1-6, 2-1, 4-3)
