The 2015–16 Winnipeg Jets season was the 17th season for the National Hockey League franchise that was established on June 25, 1997, and the fifth in Winnipeg, Manitoba, since the franchise relocated from Atlanta prior to the start of the 2011–12 NHL season.[2]
