This is the 2014-15 Southern Professional Hockey League season. This was the league's 11th season.
Membership changes[]
- The former Augusta RiverHawks franchise annouced they were relocating to Macon, Georgia on June 25, 2014. The team announced they would hold off on starting up play until the 2015-16 season "allowing the team to establish business relations and a fanbase in Central Georgia" The team will be known as the Macon Mayhem and be based out of the Macon Coliseum.

President's Cup Playoffs[]
Format[]
The top six teams qualify for the playoffs. The first round consists of three best-of-three series with the 1st place team playing the 6th place team and 2nd playing 5th and 3rd playing 4th. The highest seeded first round winner advances to the finals and the other two first round winners meet in a best-of-three semifinal series. The semifinal winner then moves on to meet the top seed in the best-of-three President's Cup Final.

- Knoxville defeated Columbus 2 games to 1 (3-2, 1-5, 4-2)
- Mississippi defeated Pensacola 2 games to 1 (2-3 (2ot), 3-2 (ot), 2-1)

- Knoxville defeated Louisiana 2 games to none (3-2, 5-4 (2ot))
