This is the 2013-14 Central Hockey League season. This is the league's 22nd season.
Franchise changes[]
- The league added an expansion team in Brampton, Ontario named the Brampton Beast. They replace the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League; which relocated to North Bay, Ontario.
- The franchise rights to the inactive Laredo Bucks franchise is revived in St. Charles, Missouri. The team is known as the St. Charles Chill.
- A probable expansion team was announced by the league for Casper, Wyoming. The team is delayed until at least the 2014-15 season.
- The Fort Worth Brahmas go inactive due to a lack of a suitable venue.
