This is the 2012-13 Northern Pacific Hockey League season. This was the league's 13th season. Six teams played the season Five of the teams played 40 games. The Glacier Nationals only played 20 games.

- The Yellowstone Quake withdrew to join the American West Hockey League.
- The Seattle Totems and the Southern Oregon Spartans withdrew to join the Western States Hockey League.
- The (Fort) Vancouver Victory were renamed the Vancouver Vipers.
- The Tri-City (Kennewick, WA) Outlaws and Bellingham Blazers were added as expansion teams
