This is the 2009-10 Hockey Northwestern Ontario Senior Season.

Overview

For the first time in a couple decades, Northwestern Ontario had three or more hockey teams. With three franchises, although a league was not officially formed, the existing teams were able to create a close to balanced playing schedule. In previous years, just having Thunder Bay and Kenora in the region, the two teams rarely played each other and were more likely to roam the Prairies for competition.
