This is the 2008-09 North Winnipeg Satelites season. The team would finish with a 26-8-0-2 record for the regular season, finishing in second place. The would defeat the Cross Lake Islanders 3-games-to-none in the quarterfinals and would then lose to the Selkirk Fishermen 3-games-to-none in the semifinals
