After the season[]
The leagues members plus the yet to play, Las Vegas Wranglers franchise were absorbed into the East Coast Hockey League. After the merger the league changed its' name to the ECHL. The only change to any of the franchises was that the Anchorage Aces were renamed the Alaska Aces.
