The 2002–03 CHL season was the 11th season of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Franchise changes[]
- The San Antonio Iguanas folded after the city got an AHL expansion team, the San Antonio Rampage.
- The Amarillo Rattlers are renamed the Amarillo Gorillas.
- The San Angelo Outlaws are renamed the San Angelo Saints.
- The Laredo Bucks began play as an expansion team.
