The 2001 American Collegiate Women's Collegiate Hockey Association Tournament was a tournament to determine the Division III national champion in women's ice hockey. This was the second and final edition of the tournament, as the NCAA would start to sponsor its own tournament starting with the 2001-02 season.

Format[]

Four teams were invited to participate in a single elimination tournament held March 9th and 10th, 2001, to determine a national champion.  The champions of the ECAC East conference tournament and the MIAC received automatic bids to the tournament. Two at-large bids were also selected. This was a change from the previous season, when only the conference tournament champions of the ECAC East and MIAC were invited for a best-of-three series. This year, all tournament games were held at the ESL Center in Rochester, New York.
