The 2000–01 Toronto Maple Leafs season was the franchise's 83rd season of existence and their 73rd season as the Maple Leafs. The team finished third in the Northeast Division with a 37-29-11-5 record (90 points). In the playoffs, they swept their rivals, the first-place Ottawa Senators, four games to none in the Conference Quarterfinals, before falling to the New Jersey Devils in seven games in the Conference Semifinals.
