1998-99 CWUAA Women's Season

This is the 1998-99 Canada West Universities Athletic Association Women's season.

The season was made up of 2 tournament held during the season.  The first one was held January 21-24, 1999 at the University of Saskatchewan.  The second event was held February 11-14, 1999 at the University of Alberta completed each team's six game regular season schedule and also had the conference tournament to determine a representative at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's ice hockey Championship.

First Round

Calgary earned first round bye.

• Regina Cougars defeated Saskatchewan Huskies 5-3
• UBC Thunderbirds defeated Manitoba Bisons 3-1
• Alberta Pandas defeated Lethbridge Pronghorns 4-0

Consolation

• Manitoba Bisons defeated Lethbridge Pronghorns 2-1

Semifinals

• Calgary Dinosaurs defeated UBC Thunderbirds 4-0
• Alberta Pandas defeated Regina Cougars 4-1

Fifth Place

• Saskatchewan Huskies defeated Manitoba Bisons 4-3 (ot)

Bronze Medal

• UBC Thunderbirds defeated Regina Cougars 3-2
