This is the 1992-93 Central Collegiate Hockey Association season.  This was the league's twenty-second season.

Membership changes[]

  • Notre Dame rejoin the conference after playing as a Division I Independent since 1984
  • Kent State joins the conference
  • Alaska-Fairbanks join the conference as an affiliate member (they will join the conference as a full member in 1995)

  • Ferris State defeated MIchigan State 3 to 2

Semifinals[]

  • Miami defeated Ferris State 4 to 3 in overtime
  • Lake Superior defeated Michigan 5 to 3

Final[]

  • Lake Superior defeated Miami 3 to 0

NCAA Tournament[]

Lake Superior

  • defeated Minnesota-Duluth 4 to 3 in the quarterfinals
  • defeated Boston University 6 to 1 in the semifinals
  • lost to Maine 5 to 4 in the National Championship game

Michigan

  • defeated Wisconsin 4 to 3 in overtime time the quarterfinals
  • lost to Maine 4 to 3 in overtime in the semifinals

Miami

  • lost to Wisconsin 3 to 1 in the first round
