Franchise changes[]
The league appears to have added two franchises in Chicago; the Chicago Patriots and the Chicago Cougars for the season, however both teams did not last the season as the standings below indicate. The only confirmed games for either franchise are the Patriots having and 0-3-0 record with 8 goals scored and 40 allowed. (this information is from hockeydb.com). Based on the standings at least an additional 26 games remain unaccounted for as the overall all records would be 61-36-17.
The St. Clair Shores Falcons were renamed the Detroit Falcons when they moved to Fraser, Michigan.
