As expected, the North high scoring Brent Sapergia, and South's ace Mike Ridley stole the show in the annual MJHL All-Star Game held Saturday, January 15 at the Winnipeg Arena. First star Sapergia scored twice, and second star Ridley setup three, the game ended deadlocked at 5 each. Over 3,000 fans attended the game.
Third star Jim Kryskow along with Perry Nakonechny and Lance Jervis were the other North marksmen. Ridley had a helping hand in goals by Ken Petrash, Terry Cyr, and Gord Stephanson. Glen Hartley and Derrick Todoruk also scored. The South erased a 1-0 first period deficit, to take a 4-2 lead after 40 minutes.
