Exhibition Series[edit | edit source]
In an extremely rare move, an NCAA team visited Canada for exhibition games. NCAA teams drew so many more fans to their games than Canadian teams that Canadian teams always wanted to play in the United States to make some money.
The University of Denver came to Vancouver to play the University of British Columbia (UBC) on Friday October 22 and Saturday October 23. UBC won both games, 11-8 and 7-6.
