Season Highlights[]
- October 4, 1981---Brent Sapergia led the Flin Flon Bombers attack with seven goals as the Bombers bombarded The Pas Huskies 17-0.
- January 19, 1982---Snow Lake's Terry Cyr scored three goals to give the North a 5-4 win over the South in the league's first all-star game.
- January 14, 1982---Scott Kennedy scored five goals to lead the Flin Flon Bombers over The Pas Huskies 14 to 4.
- January 17, 1982---Brent Sapergia scored five goals, three of them in the space of 41 seconds, to propel the Flin Flon Bombers to a 15-1 victory over the Thompson King Miners.
- February 5-7, 1982---Thompson King Miners beat The Pas Huskies three times (10-7, 8-4, 13-8), but on February 15, the league took four of the points away from Thompson and awarded them to The Pas, as Thompson had dressed more than five affiliate players, which was not allowed. The Huskies were also given two points for the King Miners failing to appear for a rescheduled February 12 game. The Commissioner later overturned the league decision to award the four points from the February 6/7 games to The Pas.
- February 10, 1982---Snow Lake Spartans tied Thompson King Miners 4-4
- February 13/14, 1982---Thompson King Miners beat The Pas Huskies 12-5 and tie them 6-6
- February 15, 1982---It was reported that the Flin Flon Bombers and Snow Lake Spartans had played some four point games in the past (instead of playing two games on a weekend, they agreed to play one, and counted it as a four pointer), giving Flin Flon 39 wins in 36 games played.
- February 17, 1982---The Pas vs Flin Flon in the two team's last meeting of the season.
- February 20, 1982---Kelly Davis scored seven goals and drew five assists as the Flin Flon Bombers thrashed the Snow Lake Spartans 29 to 1. Kelly's brother Mark added five goals.
- February 21, 1982---the Flin Flon Bombers finished the regular season undefeated, with a record of 42 wins and no losses with a 23 to 0 win over Thompson.
- March 10, 1982---the Flin Flon Bombers were named Manitoba Sports Federation's team of the month for February.
