1975–76>

The 1974–75 Indianapolis Racers season was the 1st season of operation of the Indianapolis Racers in the World Hockey Association (WHA). The Racers finished 4th in the Eastern Division and did not qualify for the playoffs.

The Racers inaugural jersey colours were lavender blue, white and red with a primarily white home jersey and a primarily dark blue away jersey. They'd stay with these colours throughout the club's existence. Three stripes on the arms and body and red shoulder yolks with a stripe underneath completed the design. The numbers and names were outlined. The logo was a blue skate with blue and red racing tracks emanating from it against a white background and "RACERS" in black under the skate. This jersey design remained unchanged throughout the Racers five year stint in the WHA with the exception of a small change to the names for the 1977-78 season.
