The 1974–75 Edmonton Oilers season was the 3rd season of the Edmonton Oilers in the World Hockey Association (WHA). The Oilers finished 5th in the Canadian Division and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Off-season[]

The Oilers jerseys underwent several changes for the 1974-75 season. More stripes were added to the body and sleeves, the font on the nameplates was modified to a block style and the away jersey's primary colour changed from orange to dark blue. Most significantly, the logo's orange oil drop changed to white on the white home jersey and blue on the away jersey while the blue "OILERS" (elongated to appear to be dripping) remained blue on the home jersey but changed to orange on the away jersey.

Pre-season[]

On October 6, 1974, the Oilers lost an exhibition game 4-3 against the Vancouver Canucks.
