This is the 1973-74 Central Collegiate Hockey Association season.  This was the leagues third season.

Membership changes[]

Due the to conference only having three members, the conference invited the Western Michigan Broncos to participate in the conference tournament.  Western Michigan established its program for the 1973-74 season.  The school would join the conference for the 1975-76 season.
