The 1973–74 Winnipeg Jets season was the 2nd season of the Jets franchise in the World Hockey Association (WHA). The Jets finished 4th in the Western Division and lost in the Quarter-finals to the Houston Aeros 4 games to 0.
Off-season[]

Bobby Hull's 1974 jersey.
The Jets jerseys were the same design as in the 1972-73 season with the exception of the nameplate and the logo. The nameplates were no longer highlighted and the font was changed to a block style. The logo went from the slanted "JETS" with a small hockey player to a blue roundel which contained white "JETS" lettering with the "J" styled as a hockey stick and "WINNIPEG" in red below it. A small overhead picture of a blue jet inside a blue circle was placed to the left of the "JETS" lettering. This logo would remain unchanged except for a minor modification for the 1978-79 season.
