This is the 1972-73 Canadian Central Hockey League Season.
League Notes[]
- Dryden Rockets withdraw.
- League accepts East Kildonan Screaming Eagles and Thompson Hawks.
- League schedules 115 games, 40 per team, except Warroad with 30.
- The Thunder Bay and Manitoba Amateur Hockey Associations, along with the Canadian Central Hockey League combined their respective playoffs. Crowning a combined Northwest Ontario and Manitoba Intermediate champ. And Manitoba’s Senior champion.
East Kildonan joined St. Boniface in Senior, the rest of the teams remained in Intermediate.

- 13 games were 4 pointers, as scheduled 10 games involved Warroad, 2 each against the other 5 teams, Lakers won 7, Thompson both, & St. Boniface. The other three were used to conclude the season earlier.
All involved Thompson, who collected 8 points against Fort Frances in a double header, before losing to
East Kildonan. 1 postponed game between Kenora and Fort Frances Canadians not played.
