Off-season[]

Raiders jerseys

Gene Peacosh and Gary Kurt's 1972-73 jerseys.

The Raiders jersey colours for their only WHA season were orange, white and blue with a primarily white home jersey and a primarily orange away jersey. Jersey numbers and names were outlined. Shoulders yolks and three stripes on the arms and body completed the design. The logo on the home jersey featured a roundel containing a hockey-playing Viking against a New York City background with "RAIDERS" at the bottom. The away jersey logo was simply "RAIDERS" spelt out in an arc. Both jerseys had the player's names on the back with no nameplate.
