Note: Prior to Game #4, League President Ron Sorby informed Selkirk management that if the two Selkirk junior Steelers players, Ron Ramsay and Don Revel, used in Game #3, participated in the game, the series would automatically be awarded to the Warroad. Selkirk ignored the warning and dressed both players.

Note: St. Boniface protested Game #3, claiming Warroad used an ineligible player. League President Ron Sorby launched an investigation and called in the Manitoba Amateur Hockey Association. George Allard secretary-manager of the MAHA, awarded the game to St. Boniface. However, MAHA President Bill Addison threw out the ruling, and ordered the game replayed.
