The 1965-66 Thunder Bay Intermediate Championship was won by the Kenora Thistles, who advanced to the 1965-66 Western Canada Intermediate Playoffs. It seems the Thistles were the only team entered at this level and thus captured the title by default this year. Their common opponent, the Dryden Rockets, had moved up to the senior level. The Kenora Daily Miner was checked for February and March, and there was nothing written about an intermediate series in the paper.
