In game 3, the Combines used several ineligible players. Their management had asked the Montagnards, before the game, not to protest.

Morrisburg had also used ineligible players in the last game of the season.

Fed up with these shenanigans, the Ottawa District Hockey Association suspended the Combines and awarded the series to the Montagnards.

Ottawa Montagnards won Morrisburg Combines suspended.

Ottawa Montagnards advanced to the 1963-64 Ottawa District Senior Playoffs.
