The 1962 Frozen Four was held March 15-17, 1962, in Utica, New York at Utica Memorial Auditorium.
The participants were:
- Clarkson College of Technology
- Michigan Technological University
- St. Lawrence University
- University of Michigan
The Michigan Tech Huskies won their first national championship, defeating academic rivals Clarkson 7-1 in the championship game.
This was the seventh straight Frozen Four to feature one of New York's North Country schools, and the only in history to feature both rivals.
