The 1961-62 Toronto Maple Leafs season was Toronto's 45th season in the NHL. The Maple Leafs finished 2nd in the league and ousted the New York Rangers in six games in the Semi-finals before defeating the defending champion Chicago Black Hawks, also in six games, to win their first Stanley Cup championship since 1951. It would be the first of three straight Stanley Cup titles for the team, and four overall during the 1960s.
