This is the 1959-60 season of the Western Hockey League. It was the eighth season of the league.

The Saskatoon Quakers and the New Westminster Royals folded. The league, reduced to seven teams, dropped the two divisions setup.

THe third annual league all-star game was played on Tuesday, January 12, 1960, @ Edmonton. The attendance was 3,127.
