Fort Frances Canadians beat Kenora Thistles.

Final[edit | edit source]

Best of 5

  • Warroad 3 Fort Frances 2
  • Warroad 12 Fort Frances 8

Fort Frances refused to take the ice for a third game, citing an ineligible player on the Warroad team. The league did not agree and awarded the series to Warroad.

Warroad Lakers won.

The teams (except for the Warroad Lakers) now entered the 1959-60 Thunder Bay Intermediate Playoffs. Warroad was not eligible because it was American.
