This is the 1959-60 Manitoba Junior Hockey League Season.

League Notes[]

Transcona Rangers moved back to Winnipeg and changed their name back to the Winnipeg Rangers.
Teams started to use home and away jerseys.
League scheduled 80 games, 32 per team.
League brought back the Charlie Gardiner Series.

Preseason tournament involving only Winnipeg area teams, held at the Olympic Rink on October 18.

Ted Taylor broke a 5-5 tie at 11:24 of the third period, as the League leading Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's best 6-5, in the inaugural MJHL All-Star Game in Brandon on January 4.
