This is the 1958-59 season of the North Shore Senior Hockey League:

Due to national deadlines, Miramichi qualified for the 1958-59 Maritimes Senior Playoffs by finishing first. After they beat St. Thomas in the semi final the Beavers went on to win the Maritimes title and then lost in the first round of the 1958-59 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs. They then returned to beat Bathurst in the league final.
