Due to national deadlines, Miramichi qualified for the [[1958-59 Maritimes Senior Playoffs]] by finishing first. After they beat St. Thomas in the semi final the Beavers went on to win the Maritimes title and then lost in the first round of the [[1958-59 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs]]. They then returned to beat Bathurst in the league final.
